Olympian Legends – cascading Greek myth from Galaxsys
Released by Galaxsys in March 2025, this title runs on a large grid with dropping symbols and a progress bar that unlocks five mythic modifiers. With a bonus in play, though, the art is not the story: two small buttons are. The ante bet and the bonus buy both change what a spin costs, and both can collide with promotion rules.
What the game actually is
The grid is 6x5 and the paying logic is Pay Anywhere: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen win, then vanish so new ones can drop in. Base RTP is 96.05%, climbing to 96.31% in x2 Chance mode and up to 96.59% with a bonus buy. Volatility is medium, the maximum win is 5000x, and the studio quotes a stake range of €0.10 to €10.
Medium volatility is a genuine advantage here: a cascade engine hands out small wins more often than a classic line slot, which is exactly what makes it more usable across a long turnover session.
Feature rounds in detail
The progress bar on the right collects wins and unlocks the five mythic modifiers as it levels. Free spins run twelve rounds, and the bar does not reset during them – one reason the feature is dramatically stronger than the base game. Multipliers run x1 to x20 in the base game and x2 to x50 in bonus mode.
Two optional buttons complete the picture. The x2 Chance ante raises the stake by 25% for better feature odds, and Bonus Buy purchases the round outright for 100x the stake. Both are financial decisions rather than gameplay extras.
Stakes and limits in forints
Galaxsys quotes €0.10–€10, which an operator converts to forints at its own rate. In practice that means a minimum of a few dozen forints and a maximum in the low thousands; the real ladder appears in the stake selector. With x2 Chance switched on, a 500 Ft base stake actually costs 625 Ft per spin – an easy difference to miss, because the interface usually foregrounds the base figure.
A bonus buy costs 100x the stake. On a 500 Ft bet that is 50,000 Ft for a single round, far beyond the max-bet cap of virtually any bonus.
What this game does to a rollover
Model it: a 30,000 Ft bonus at 20x wagering equals 600,000 Ft of turnover. At 500 Ft a spin that is 1,200 rounds; with x2 Chance on, the real stake is 625 Ft, so the same turnover arrives in 960 rounds. Faster on paper, identical money through the system in reality. The trap is that ante-style raised bets are explicitly banned by many promotions. If the rules exclude bonus-bet or ante-bet wagers, switching on x2 Chance is not merely a pricier spin but a breach that can void the bonus. The same applies to Bonus Buy, which most bonus terms exclude from turnover entirely.
One widespread misconception is worth killing off: cascades do not create extra turnover. One spin is one stake even when five consecutive drops follow. The cascade builds the win, not the wagering count – for rollover purposes a long, spectacular round is worth exactly the same as a spin that dies instantly.
Demo play and real-money play
Demo makes the fill rate of the progress bar visible and shows how much x2 Chance really shifts it. That comparison would be expensive in real money and costs nothing in demo. Demo rounds, however, do not count towards a bonus requirement – only real-money stakes do.
