Bitcoin at Onlyspins

Bitcoin is the coin most people already own, and the least convenient of the three the cashier supports. Blocks are slower, fees move with congestion, and the forint value floats for the whole time a bonus is running. None of that makes it a bad route — it makes it a route for people who hold BTC already rather than people buying it to deposit. The alternatives sit on the crypto page.

Two variables instead of one

A bonus run is already an exercise in variance. Bitcoin adds a second, unrelated one: over the 21 days the welcome offer allows, the forint value of the coin moves for reasons that have nothing to do with any spin. The wagering requirement itself does not move — it is measured in forint on the balance and locked the moment the deposit credits — but the final tally ends up mixing the outcome of the game with the outcome of a currency market, and the two cannot be separated afterwards.

This is the whole argument for USDT over BTC on a site that treats bonuses as arithmetic. Where the point is to check whether a 40x requirement was worth taking, a floating coin makes the answer unreadable. See the wagering page for how that check is done.

Congestion, fees and the batching rule

The operator charges nothing on Bitcoin in either direction. What is deducted is the network fee, set by how busy the chain is when the transfer goes out, and paid as an amount rather than a percentage. So the cost of a movement barely changes with its size — which makes frequent small transfers the expensive pattern. Eight withdrawals at the 12,000 Ft floor pay eight fees; one withdrawal of 100,000 Ft pays one. The 20,000 Ft deposit floor exists for the same reason from the other direction.

Sending correctly, once

The cashier issues an address together with a network, and the pair is what is valid. Blockchains have no reversal mechanism: a transfer sent incorrectly cannot be recovered by the operator, by the network, or by this site. On the first occasion the sensible move is a small test amount above the minimum, confirmed as credited before anything larger follows. Payouts then return to the same wallet under the closed loop rule, after the 0 to 3 hour pending window and one-time verification described on the withdrawal page.

Bitcoin questions

How long does a Bitcoin deposit take to credit?
As long as the network needs to produce the required confirmations, which on Bitcoin is the slowest of the three supported coins. In practice that is minutes rather than hours in normal conditions, and longer when the network is busy. Outbound the operator commits to a maximum of 24 hours, so the payout side does not depend on block times in the same way.
What does a Bitcoin transfer cost?
Nothing on the operator side in either direction. The cost is the network fee, deducted by the blockchain itself, and it varies with how congested the network is at that moment. Because it is a fixed amount rather than a percentage, it is worth batching movements: one 100,000 Ft withdrawal pays it once, eight withdrawals at the 12,000 Ft floor pay it eight times.
Does the exchange rate affect a bonus run?
It affects the result without affecting the requirement. Wagering is measured in forint on the balance, so the 40x figure is fixed the moment the deposit credits. What moves is the forint value of the coin over the 21 days, which means the final tally mixes two unrelated outcomes. Anyone who wants to read the bonus arithmetic cleanly is better served by a dollar-pegged stablecoin.
